Here’s what you should consider when deciding where to live:
Proximity to Cafes, Pubs, Restaurants, Shops, Parks and Culture What’s important to you in a neighbourhood? How do you spend your time? If you’re a homebody, easy access to Toronto nightlife might not matter to you, but if you thrive on being in the middle of the action, there are neighbourhoods that are more suited to you than others. Real Estate Trends What’s happening to prices in the neighbourhood? Is the area transitioning or already mature? Are prices predicted to follow the overall GTA averages, will they lead the pack or there a possibility of decline as the neighbourhood is becoming less desirable? Buying in an up-and-coming neighbourhood can mean that the value of your home increases faster than the average, but it also means you’ll compromise on conveniences in the short-term.
